The Federal House adopted the resolution of Mr Fisher, leader of the Labour Party, that the provision of Federal old age pensions is an urgent public duty and should be proceeded with during the present session. Both Government and Opposition favoured this and Mr beakin promised to introduce a Bill next mouth.
