At a Special Meeting of the above Council held on 7th March, 1908, a resolution was passed making and levying a Special Rate of fd in the £ within the Kakariki Special Rat ing District, to provide the interest &c,, on a loan of £SO, authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council under “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” for metalling Kakariki Street, Mangaweka North. Such loan to be for a period of 41 years, and the interest to be paid at the rate of 4 per cent, per annum. It is hereby further notified that a copy of the resolution making and levying such Special Rate is open to public inspection at the office of the Council, High Street, Marton, and that a Special Meeting of the said Council will be held at Marton on SATURDAY, 4th April, 1908, at 8 p.m,, to confirm such resolution.
