FROZEN MEAT. Per Press Association. Napier March 19. The G.O. and D. Coy., cable the following qoutatious of frozen meat: .—Canterbury mutton 4}£d, Napier, Wellington, North Island 3%d. Lamb, first quality 6d, second 5%d. Beef, hinds B%d, fores 2%d. WOOL SALES. Messrs Abraham & Williams, Ltd., have received the following cable from London, under date March 17th :—The sales have opened with large*attendance hut with moderate competition. The market is depressed and prices for all XB aio lower by Id to per lb, whilst for Merino prices are lower by 5 to 1% per cent.
