SUPREME COURT.

Press Association, Palmerston N., March 18. The order for imprisonment was suspended for a week to allow Pitton time to pay the fine and to find securities.

Emanuel White was charged with having caused the death of Lucy Goldfinch by failing take proper precautions for her safety. White gave some little girls a ride on his horse and one named Goldfinch fell off and was killed. He was found not guilty by the jury and discharged accordingly.
