Mr Price, Premier of South Australia, interviewed by the Morning Post, explained that Australia’s atti-‘ tude on military defence was partly prompted by fear of a great awakening in China which might constitute a yellow peril. Also Australia desired to fulfil her part in Imperial defence. He declared that protection for Ausralia was a fixed poilcy. With reference to England he declined to discuss Home labour problems and declared that English investors need not fear confiscation or breach of agreements.
