Mr Justice Warrington sanctioned the formation of a company to take over The Times. Mr Walter is chairman, IvlrMoherlj Bell manager, and the rest of tho directors are Buckle, Ohirol, JMouke, Penney, and the leading members of the staff. No shares are offered to the public. There is to bo no change in the political or editorial direction of the paper, which will ba conducted by the same staff on the independent lines hitherto pursued. The Chronicle suggests that Lords Rothschild and Northcliffe .(Harmsworth) provided the bulk of -The Times capital, and states that the goodwill is valued at £320,000, without the plant and freehold premises. The Daily Mail states that the capital of The Times Company is £750,000.
