The Lord Mayor presided at an influential meeting at the Town Kali moulding Lord Noitbcote, Mr Deakin, represen taives of Parliament, and the leading institutions and citizens when it was decided to erect a statue to the Marquis of Linlithgow, and also to found in some others form a memorial to be decided later.
