ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Press Association. Dannevirke, March 11. J. Allardice, one of the first English settlers here and well-known in Southern Hawke’s Bay, died this morning. On Monday whilst wrestling an old internal trouble was reopened and lie was taken to the hospital where an operation was performed, but he died within 24 hours. An inquest will be held this afternoon.
