“ Grey mouth, March 9. The suggestion by Mr Lomas for a conference between the Blackball Union and the mine agent to endeavour to settle the points in dispute and refer matters on which an agreement was not arrived at to the Arbitration 'Court, was rejected by the Union. The employers were agreeable to the course suggested.
