SECOND DAY. Per Press Association. Wanganui, March 7. There is a large attendance and the weather is perfect for the second day of the Wanganui Autumn Meeting. Results;—■ Autumn Handicap, one mile: Dear Dolly 1, Splendid Idea 3, Waipaku 3. All started. Time, Imin 43sec.

Matarawa Handicap, six furlongs: Vasa 1, Mon Ami 3, Waikaraka 3. Scratched : Daisy Paul and Mallet. Jackson Stakes, six 'furlongs: Gravitation 1, Irish Rifle 3, Glenculloch 3.

Hurdles: Maui 1, Claremont 3, Cachuca 3. The race was the best ever seen on the course. A sheet could have covered the five horses at the finish.

Okoia Hack Hurdles: Immolation

1, Aorangi 3, Bagatelle 3. Also ran: Xavier, Star Rose, English, and Greenboy. Won comfortably by two lengths. Time, 3min 2seo. Wanganui Stakes, 1% miles: Marguerite 1, The Lark 2/Uhlando 3. Also ran: Master Delaval, Mahuta, Tangimoaua, Signor, Saga. Uhlando led for six furlongs, when Marguerite took up the running and was never afterwards headed. Time, 2min 85 25-sec.

Harrison Hack, I% miles; Ataahna 1, Daisy Paul 3, Somali 8. Also ran: Moscow, Belario, Happy Maid, Anemone, Mallet. Won easily by two lengths. Time, 3min 11 3-ssec. Farewell Handicap, six furlongs: Ballarat 1, Kitcheumaid 3, Cyrene 3. Also ran: Dear Dolly, Waihuka, Prism. Won by three lengths. Time, Imin 15 3-ssec.
