Scratched : Daisy Paul and Mallet. Jackson Stakes, six furlongs: Gravitation 1, Irish Rifle 2, Glenoulloch 8. Hurdles; Maui 1, Claremont 2, Cachuca 3. The race was the best ever seen on the course. A sheet could have covered the five horses at the finish.
