VISIT OF THE PRINCE OF WALES. Press Association —Copyright. Received March 6,11.58 p.m. Ottawa, March 6. Sir Wilfrid Laurier, in the Dominion House of Commons, announced that the Prince of Wales visit would extend over a week, beginning on the 32nd July. The Prince of Wales would be accompanied in the North Atlantic by a French squadron. American warships would also attend. He hoped that the Motherland and South Africa would contribute to a fund for the purchase of sites of Canadian battlefields, thus producing a great effect throughout the Empire.
