MARTON BRASS BAND.

At a meeting of above held on Monday evening votes of thanks were passed to Mr W. H. Smith for free advertising in the Advocate, to . Mr A. Way for promoting the Band ' Concert, St, Stephens’ Hall Committee for use of hall for practices, the Borough Council for remitting fee or hire of Opera House for Band Concert, Messrs J. Kendrick and Signal Bros, for conveying Bandsmen to and from the Railway Station _ free _of cost and all those who assisted in Band to visit New Plymouth contest.
