STOCK REPORT. Messrs Abraham & Williams report on their Johnsonville sale asfollows: —A fair entry of bullocks of prime quality made up to 21s, bestbullocks £8 to £8 7s 6d, others £7 10s to £7 15s, cows £3 los to £3 2a 6d. A fall yarding of sheep, mostly prime quality, sold well—extra heavy wethers 18s, good wethers 10s--9d to los lid, ewes 10s 0d to 13s, light 12s lOd to 13s, lambs 13s 6d to13a lid, light 10s 6d. We sold a line of dairy cows from £4 10s to £5, rough 80s to £2 Is. Trap pony £15,, hack £lO 10s. A SUCCESSFUL SALE. Press Association. Oamaru, March 3. The clearing sale at Otekaike* Estate, recently purchased by the Government, took place to-day. The sheep were the principal feature of the sale, of which 1.37,000 will be offered. The copious rainfall of yesterday and to-day added, it is estimated, about £7OOO to the value. Half bred ewes., '2-tooth, brought from 13s 3d to 17s 2d, three-quarter-bred ewes 18s to 18s 2d, half-bred 4-tooths 20s Id, halfbred 6-tooths 225, halfbred 8-tooths 15s to iSs 6d, f.m. do. 11s 6d to 11s 9d. The sale was a successful one, buyers being present from Southland. Otago, and.Canterbury.
