SHOOTING.
Saudou-Ohakea Rifle Club met the Manchester Rifles on the latter’s range at Feilding on Saturday, and defeated the home team by 16 points. There were some good scores registered, notably F. Purnell’s 95, with a possible at 600 yards, and Lieut. Pleasant’s 94. Refreshments were provided on the range and an enyoyable afternoon was spent.
