PERRY’S ELECTRIC BIORAMA.
Iu our advertising columns of today readers will notice that on Tuesday next, 3rd; March, they will have an opportunity of wituesiug a performuace given by Perry’s Biorama and Vaudeville Company. The company has just completed a successful season iu the Wellington Opera House, and judging from the reports of the metropolitan press the entertainment provided is something worth seeing. Mr Perry has been fortunate iu securing Edison’s latest triumph, the Diolight, which will be the illumination used, aud as the management has the only Diolight plant in the colonies, the light will bo absolutely new to Marton playgoers. The same programme that was [submitted in Wellington will be given in Marton, and an enjoyable evening should be spent. Besides the best selection of the latest things iu the animated art, a host of first class vaudeville artists are with the company, aud this will add greatly to its drawing powers. The following are the names of the artists: Harry Collins, vocal comedian; Athos, skatorial king; Miss Eva Brady, picture singer; Stau Chester, English character comedian, and Little Leah, a dear little dot of some seven summers, who sings aud dances with the grace of an adult. Altogether the entertainment should prove to be a very attractive one. Ov. ing to the company being due iu Christchurch shortly the season is for one night only. Popular prices are being charged.
