STOCK REPORT. Messrs Dalgety & Co., Ltd., port :—At Wanganui on Thursday we held a clearing sale of drag and bus plant on account of 'Messrs Finlay Bros., at Aramoho. There was a good attendance. Competition _ for thehorses dragged and prices considering the useful class offered, must be considered in favour ,pf buyers. For the balance of the catalogue there was animated bidding and a satisfactory clearance made. Quotations: —Horses: Pair buggy horses £5, medium young harness horses £ls, £37, £3B, to £2O; older sorts £lO, £l2 10s., to £l-1 ss, others £6 5s to £9 10s. Vehicles: Drags £55, small drag £27 10s, waggonette £133 ss, long shafter £l2 los, gig £lO. Harness and sundries at good prices.
WOOL SALES. Messrs Abraham & Williams, Ltd., report on the last wool sale of the .season as follows: —At Wellington on Friday last we offered a catalogue comprising ;350 hales of medium and dingy crossbreds, which were in fairly heavy condition. Buyers were well represented, and bidding was animated for all bright wools offered, but anything dingy or seedy was very dull of sale. Prices all round showed a fall of Id to l%d on those ruling at last sale. We quitted over half of our catalogue under, the hammer. .'.Our range of prices’ was as follows:—Fine crossbred 6%d to 7d, bright medium crossbred 6%d to G>4d, medium crossbred to 6d, inferior and dingy crossbred 4d to lambs bright and good'!;coudition 7d to 7%d, medium lambs 6d to inferor and seedy 3%d to 4d, bellies ‘S%d to 4>£d, locks and pieces 2>4d to Some of our offerings were as follows :—TUI over WI, medium crossbred sold at 6%d, NG, fine crossbred sold at 6%d, ; ESTCOUKT, 7 bales lambs 6%d, 11 over —, 7 bales medium crossbred, sold Drev.
