POLLARD’S JUVENILE OPERA COMPANY.

In connection with the opening production in “The Isle of BongBong” at the Marton Opera House on Friday night next, it is interesting to playgoers to find prominent members of the old celebrated organisation assisting their new young colleagues under the old banner. We refer in particular to Mr Charles Albert and Mr Harry Quealey. The old Pollardians are now fully associated with the new organisation and give great support, through their past experience, to the efforts of the clever juveniles. In the opening piece. ‘The Isle of Bong Bong,” Master Bertie Nicholson again appears In the principal comedy part, and it is reported scores a magnificent success. Miss Ivy Aldous and her comrades present an original Indian turn with a speciality clog dance. Little Miss Alma Aldous and Mr Hubert Carter render an entrancing duet. “The Tropical Moon,” with special scenic and lighting effects. “The Isle of Bong Bong” will be staged for one night only, and will he the last opportunity for 13 mouths of seeing this popular organisation. The box plan is now open at Mogridge’s.
