Robert Bell alias Snell, was sentenced by Mr Justice Chapman today to three year.,’ imprisonment with hard labour, on three charges of forgery and uttering. Christopher Scott, solicitor, for forgery, was sentenced to 18 mouths. Auckland, February 31. Mr Justice Edwards granted decrees nisi in the cases of Ghas. William Maddock v. Jane Florence Maddock, and Alfred Oaunard, corespondent; Otto Harderup v. Jane Harderup and James Willis, corespondent ; Sarah Jane Begham Cross v. Eichard Chas. Cross, misconduct.
