FARMERS’ UNION.
Press Association. Auckland, February 21. The farm labour difficulty and the desirability of affiliating with the Employers’ Association were discussed this morning by the Executive of the Farmers’ Union. After discussion final consideration was .deferred to the next provincial conference. It was resolved, that this meeting approves of the action of the head office in the shearers’ dispute in declining to appear before the Conciliation Board as at present constituted as in the opinion of the meeting it is not an unbiassed tribunal.
