Dunedin Education Board carried Mr McKenzie’s resolution appointing one of the Board’s teachers to proceed to Europe or America to study agriculture with a view to teaching the same in the Board’s schools. The Hon. Mr Fowlds left Tologa this morning for Waipiro where he stays to-night. .He is visiting public and native schools en route and has received warm welcomes from native chairmen. Wangara school committee said natives were 'grieved to read in the newspapers adverse criticism of native cshools and assured the Minister tftat the boys received lasting good.
