To-day’s play left the game in a most interesting stage, the home team requiring 12 to win with one wicket to fall. Interest grew as the Welshmen overhauled the Englishmen’s score, and towards the close an intense had light stopped play at five minutes before six. % Trnmper made a fine innings, showing a return of a lot of his old form. With Bardsley he added 169 for the third wicket. Bardsley’s first century in big cricket took three hours, unmarred by a chance.
