February 17, 8.34 a.m. * New York 16. ■ Reuter’s New York .correspondent jeports that at his daughter’s petition Caldwell has been .committed to an asylum for the insane. The that -she -was convinced that he was insane early in 1907, but before she was able to obtain his committal Hollamby Druce’s solicitor arrived and stated that Caldwell was the Duke of -Portland. This story can be corroborated.
