At a Special Meeting of the Eangitikei County Council, held on Saturday, 25 th January, 1908, a resolution was passed, by way of Special Order, making a now By Law, the object and purport of such By Law being to repeal Sub-Section A of Section 8 of By Law 3 of the said Council, and in lieu thereof to enact a new Sub-Section, providing that the amount of the annual license fee payable in respect of vehicles plying for hire for the carriage of goods shall be - £2, and in respect of vehicles plying for hire for the carriage of passengers only shall be £l. A copy of the proposed Special Order and By Law is open to public inspection at the office of the Council, High btreer, Marton, during office hours, and it is hereby further notified that a Special Meeting of the said Council will be held on Saturday, 7th March, 1908, at 3 p.m., to confirm such Special Order and By Law.
