WANGANUI RAM FAIR.

At Messrs Freeman R. Jackson & 00. ’s Central Ham Fair yesterday there was keen demand for Lincoln studs, the sale for these sheep being the best for many years. The top prices for • Lincoln studs were Mr VV. Rayner’s,,at 64 guineas, and Mr W.- Wybourne’s 60 guineas. The highest averages were McGregor Bros. £34 ss, Wybourne £2B 18s 6d, B. Rayner £26 10s, and Mrs Perry £26 ss. Flock Lincolns, though not up to the standard of last year, sold briskly at satisfactory prices, the highest being 21 guineas, the best average for flocks being McGregor Bros. £9 3s 9d, and Wybourne £8 Bs. Romneys of a good class sold up to an average of £4 16s, the latter for W. Rayner’s entry, Leicesters and Downs were absolutely The results of the day’s sales were as follows:
