Play was even in the first half, but the New Zealanders were leading at half-time by 5 points to 3. After twenty minutes’ even play in the second half, tho New Zealanders scored thrice in rajpd succession and tho Northern ..Union scored just on time. Received February 10, 8.58 a.m. London, February 9. In tho Rugby football match England against Ireland, the former won by two goals and a try to a penalty goal. Portus, a Sydneyite, jilayed for England.
