LONDON WOOL SALES. ’ Press'Association.— Copyright. Received Feb. 9, 5.45 p.m. London, Last Night. Wool sold for home consumption totalled 20,000 bales; for the Continent TO,OOO, and America 0000 bales. Held over, 3100 bales. Compared with December, best greasy merinos were nearly 5 per cent dearer, good scoureds 5 percentlower, faulty 7 y> per cent to 10 percent. Fine crossbreds firm; medium inferior, 10 per ceut lower, scoureds especially faulty 10 per cent. FEILDING MARKET REPORT. Messrs A. H. Atkinson & G 0.,, Ltd., report:—On Friday we held our weekly sale. A fair entry of pigs came to hand of a good class. Small pigs were neglected and hard to quit. Poultry pens were well filled aud sold at current rates. A large consignment of plums brought a good price. Pigs: Weauors 4s Del, 5s 9d, 8s 6d, slips 10s 9d to 14s Gd, stores 19s to 335. Poultry: Youug roosters Is Id to Is 6d, hens Is to Is lid, ducks Is 9d, all at each. Pro- • duce: Potatoes Id per lb, plums 3s- . to 7s 9d per case, apples 2d per lb.
