Atkinson & Co., Feildmg, report:—On Thursday we had our monthly sale of wool, skins, hides, etc., and offered 35 hales and 190 bag lots of wool, 1150 skins, and 450 hides and calfskins, cask and tin tallow, etc. Buyers were well represented, and bidding was snirited at current rates. Messrs Abraham & Williams, Ltd., Palmerston North, report:—At our skin and bide sale on 7th inst., we had an average catalogue to offer buyers. The wool consisted of and 56 hags, mostly docks, dead wool. In A skins we offered 1400, the bulk of which were pelts. Wo had 400 calfskins and 300 large hides, 5 casks and 56 tins tallow, and the usual quantities of sundries. Buyers were fairly well represented and considering the state of the market competition was fairly keen for most lots offered.
