Delivery hose to be made up in coils, strapped, and placed in body of engine; branches strapped in horns in front of engine. Suction hose to be in side pockets, one on each side of engine; lids closed, all caps on. Time to last man returning to starting point. Man must be not less than 12 inches above ground when taking hose out of body of engine. Open only to members of the Marton Fire Brigade. Entrance night, March 7th. Any competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name, or practising fraud shall be disqualified for life. The Committee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after the event, to make a declaration as to his identity and the correctness of the dej seription of his performances. The Committee may disqualify any competitor, j either before or after any event, who \ shall refuse to make the required declaration, and he shall not be entitled to claim any prize.
