Press Association. —-Copyright. Received February 7, 10.10 a.m. Melbourne, February 7. A number of questions were asked in the Senate in respect to the £SOOO -voted to the Nimrod expedition. The Minister said the application for a grant was not made by Professor David alone, hue.representations had come from various sources. There was no reason to believe that the expedition was a speculative one as suggested in one of the questions.
