ARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL. Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Marion Borough Council held on Tuesday, 14th January, 1908, it was resolved (by way of Special Order) that the Marion Borough Council make Supplementary By-laws under “ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” and the amendments thereof, the subject and purport of which By-laws are to repeal By-law No. 109 of the By-laws of the said Borough of Marton, made by Special Order on the 9th October, 1879, and in lieu thereof to enact that a yearly license fee shall be paid to the Marton Borough Council for and in respect of every vehicle of whatever description that shall be plied for hire for the carriage of either passengers or goods of any kind on or along any road within the said Borough of Marton. In cases where the vehicle is plied for hire for the carriage of passengers only the yearly license fee shall be £1 for each such vehicle, and in all other cases the yearly license fee shall be £2 for each such vehicle. The said resolution will be submitted for confirmation to a Special Meeting of the Council to be held at the Council Chambers, High Street, Marton, on FRIDAY, 14th February, 1908, at 8 o’clock p.m. A copy of the proposed Special Order and By-laws is deposited at the office of the Marton Borough Council, High Street, Marton, where the sa,me will be open for inspection during office hours, from 15th January, 1908, until the 28th February, 1908. « A.
