Conditions. —Men to run from the front 20 yards to engine, lock fore-car-riage, turn over and unlock levers, connect two lengths of suction hose to engine, connect to engine, and run out at right angles, two 50-lengths of canvas hose from each side, and fix branches and return to starting point. Delivery hose to be made up in coils, strapped, and placed in body of engine; branches strapped in horns in front of engine. Suction hose to be in side pockets, one on each side of engine; lids closed, all caps on. Time to last man returning to starting point. Man must be not less than 12 inches above ground when taking hose out of hotly of engine. Open only to members of the Marton Fire Brigade.
