MARTON BOWLING CLUB. The A and B Class tournaments are now being played each evening on Marton green. The first round for the A Class was completed last evening. The results were H. H. Hunt (skip) and A. W. Woolley 21 v. J. McEldowney (skip) and A. Linton 12; H. Sutcliffe (skip) and B. G. Goebel 18 v. J. A. Bell (skip) and J. A. Pawson 16; A. P. Sharpe (skip) and T. C. Trott 26 v. A. H. Sutcliffe (skip)) and J. M. Nicol 24. The following games have been played in the second round of the E Class Tournament: —D. Oormack 33 v. T. Ward IS; H. W. Broom 24 v. A. Wav 21; W. Ward 28 v. G. Duck 18; L. Molndoe 25 v. W. Nnttall 15; J. Mogridge 25 v. M. Walters 12; H Humphrey 18 ( v. A. Brockett 14; W. Williams 21 v. H. Baxter 17; T. H. Bred in 26 v. W. Oruickshank 14. To-morrow a three rink match will be played against Palmerston at Palmerston. Following have been selected to represent Marton : —H. Sutcliffe (skip), B. G. Goebel, A. Linton, and J. A. Pawson; J. A. Bell (skip), H. Clifton, A. W. Woolley and A. H. Sutcliffe; A. P. Sharpe (skip), J. McEldowney, a. Mogpidge and T. 0. Trott.
