RULES AND REGULATIONS. Entries will be received by the Managing Steward up till 9 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, February sth, 1908. All ponies must attend for measurement at 12.30 p.m, on the course on the day of the races when a sis months’ certificate will he granted, for which 5s will be charged. All handicaps, with the exception of the Miramar Cup, will be started on a minimum of Bst 71b. The Miramar Cup will be started on a minimum of Bst. Any winner during the day to incur a penalty of 71b. So far as is possible, the rules of the New Zealand Racing Conference will be observed at this meeting, but a book of •rules is in couise of preparation, and will tshortly be issued. I Weights will be declared on MONi DAY, February 10th. The Managing Steward will be pleased Ao give any information to country ■visitors as to accommodation to be obitained for themselves and ponies. No pony allowed to start whose nomination fse is unpaid. In the case of there being less than five 1 starters for the Miramar Cup, the I right is reserved to reduce the value of the stake.
