Received January 23, 8.20 a.m. London, January 22. At the wool sales 7074 bales were offered, chiefly merinos. There was' a srilendid attendance and teen comedition. Best merinos were very. with a hardening tendency Cod making sorts were unchanged md verv faulty five per cent below December sales. A small selection >f'Crossbreds were 5 per cent-cheaper, nerino a halfpenny dearer. There was keen competition at the vool sales. _ All qualities sold were it full openij- g rates. STOCK”REPORT. Messrs Abraham & Williams, Ltd., eport a large yarding of lambs at larton on Tuesday, for which there vas good inquiry, and recent prices cere 8 well maintained. Frantically he whole yarding was cleared under Writhe hammer.
