HODSON’S HORSE.
DEMONSTRATION OP NATIVE
LOYALTY.
Press Association—Copyright. Received December 30, 8.18 a.m. Bombay, December 29. At the Jubilee at Lahore of Hodson’s Horse, a body of irregular cavalry embodied at the time of the mutiny, Colonel Oowper led the march past and saluted its native retired veterans. This waked a spontaneous demonstration of loyalty on the part of native soldiers and native officers who cheered solemnly declaring they had not participated in the recent unrest and abominated all sedition mongers.
