OHANGINA COUNTY COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDERS. Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Pohangina County Council held at Pohangina on SATURDAY, 14th day of December, 1907, Special Orders were adopted as follows ; 1, Authorising the raising of a loan of £6OO under the provisions of “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” and all other Statutes enabling it in that behalf so to do, and by virtue of a warrant issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor, for the purpose of providing the Pohangina County Council’s proportion of the cost of constructing a bridge and approaches over the Oroua River on the Apiti Main South Road, known as the Marton Block Crossing. 2. For the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £6OO to be raised under “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” and amendments thereto, and The Public Works Act, 1906,” for the purpose of providing the Pohangina County Council’s proportion of the cost of construct 1 ng a bridge and approaches over the Oroua River on the Apiti Main South Road known as the Marton Block Crossing, the said Council makes and levies a Special Rate of 1.32nd of a penny in the pound sterling upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Oroua Goal Creek Block North, the Feilding Small Farm Block, the Mangoira Coal Creek Block, the Pohangina No. 1 Farm Homstead Settlement, and all sections north of Apiti-Norsewood Road in the Salisbury Special Settlement Block, also Sections 18, 19, 20, 22, Block XII., Apiti Survey District, Pohangina County. The loan is for a period of 41 years and the interest being £3 10s per centum per annum. It is hereby further notified that copies of the above resolutions are open to public inspection at the County Office, Pohangina, during office hours, and that a Special Meeting of the said Council will be held on SATURDAY, 11th day of January, 1908, to confirm such resolutions,.
