IjtDED KINSALE is a bright bay horse with ■plenty o£ bone and hair of the best quality, together with a good temper and grand action. He was bred by Mr Ruddock, of Canterbury. His sire Lord Roberts* sire Lord Lion, winnor of twelve firsts and twelve champion prizes. His grand sire, Lord Salisbury (1206), imported, winner of first prize at Ayr, 1876, as a two-year-old, first prize at Kilmarnock, 1877, and champion med»f for best horse in the yard. In the same year he won first prize at Dairy, first at Ayr, first at Glasgow, and first at the Highland Society’s Show at Edinburgh. After coming to New Zealand, Lord Salisbury won a largo number of prizes. He was first at Dunedin in 1881, first and champion at Taierl in 1883, first and champion at Dunedin and Taeiri in 1881, and first and champion at Dunedin in 1885 and 1888, . Lord Lion's dam, Myrtle, by Prince of Wales (Imported), grand dam Molly McKissook, was imoorted by the late Mr McAllum, her sire Lord Xiion (4896 C. 5.8.)
