THE NEW HEBRIDES.
A BRIGHTER OUTLOOK,
Press Association —Copyright.
Received December 24, 10.12 a.m. Sydney, December 24 Missionaries from the New Hebrides hold hopeful views with regard to the recently proclaimed dual control. Mr King, the new administrator vice Captain Rason, resigned, intends immediately to put a stop to grogselling to natives. While the prospects of the group are excellent it is useless for more settlers to go there unless possessed of some capital, bceause trading stations are practically overdone. There is room now for planters and there is any amount of land at their disposal.
