Nominations for all Events, and ENTRIES for the Maiden Hack Race, close with the Secretary at the Office of the Club, Bulls, on SATURDAY, 7th December, 1907, at 9 p.m. Weights for the First Day’s Events will be declared on or about WEDNESDAY, 11th December, 1907, and for the Second Day’s Events at the Office of the Club, at 7.30 on the evening of the First Day. . Acceptances for the First Day’s Events will close with the Secretary, at the Office of the Club, Bulls, on WEDNESDAY, 18th December, 1907, at 9p. m., and for the Second Day’s Events at the same place at 9 o’clock on the evening of the First Day. PENALTIES. The following penalties shall be carried by the winner of any race after declaration of weights:—Of the value of 50 sovs. 61b; of any race or races of the collective value of 100 sovs, 81b; 150 sovs, 101 b. ; 300 sovs. and over, 141 b., provided that any horse handicapped at Bst 101 b, and over will only carry half these penalties. This rule does not apply to Welter and Hurdle Races. HURDLE AND WELTER RACES. The winner of any race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b, two or more races 171 b. RULES. All Races to be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Rangitikei Racing Club, Bulls, and entrance money to be enclosed with name of horse, age at time of entry, name of owner and trainer, pedigree, and colours of riders. All nominations by wire must be confirmed by letter by first mail afterwards. Bookmakers, their clerks, agents or assistants will not, be allowed on the grounds of the Rangitikei Racing Club, unless licensed by the Club. H. A. GOODALL, Secretary.
