In the Wallace Divorce case a witness deposed that her husband had asked her to give up acquaintance with Mrs Wallace as Wallace had represented his wife in a bad light and told him Mrs Wallace met Brauud, the cricketer, in Albert Park, and it had taken a large sum of money to buy back letters, as Braund had attempted to blackmail her.
