FEILDING MARKET REPORT. Messrs A. H. Atkinson & 00. report:—Ou Friday a large entry of pigs came to hand. Bidding was not fw been as last week and prices were a shade easier. The poultry pens were full, but the quality was not first class, ami light birds wore neglected. New potatoes mado thenappearance at the rooms for the first time tin's season, and we still have a fair quantity to dispose of. Pigs : Weaners 7s 9d to 12s, slips 13s (id to 17s 6d, stores 21s to 2s sd, empty sows 7s 6d to 40s, agod 30s. Poultry : Hens Is 3d to 2s id, chickens 9d to Is 7d, goese 3s Id to 3s 2d each. Produce: Old potatoes, table' (is (id > to l'is (id, pig 2s, new potatoes l'-M 1 to 2d per lb. STOCK REPORT. Messrs Dalgety & Co., Ltd., report:— At Feilding on Friday there was a fair entry of both sheep and cattle. There was only a moderate demand for sheep, but a good demand for ' cattle. Sheep: Aged smptv ewes 6s !)d, fat Shropshire ewes" los 7d, small shorn 3 tooth wethers 12s lid, small shorn 2 tooth ewes 14s Id, fat bullocks £(> 15s to -£7 ils, fat cows £5 2s, heifers £O, forward cows 565, cows with calves £2 15s young bulls 395; old dairy cows £2 12s 6d. Messrs Freeman R. Jackson & Co., report:—At our Wauganui stock sale on the 11th inst. we had a yarding of 800 head mixed cattle, 1650 sheep, and 100 pigs. Bidding for slioop was dull, though most lines found bnyers after the auction at prices quoted below. Cattle, on the whole, were somewhat easier, although most lines offered were disposed ;of before the day closed at satisfactory values. A good yarding of pigs met a ready ksale.
