Tho paper expresses a fear that Roosevelt lias committed a mistake in clamoring for revolutiouay legislation in the direction of a bigger army and navy, and making constant appeals to the Jingofspirit and the popular passions, thus encouraging class hatred. The New York Sun declares that Roosevelt is tho most conscienceless and reckless demagogue tiie country has ever scon. Received December 13, 8.40 a.m. Loudon, December 12. ” Renter states that President Roosevelt has declared that he will not change his decision not to become a candidate for a fresh term of the Presidency.
