Queensland members strongly opposed the free admission of Now Zealand pine, desiring to insist on the exclusive use of Queensland pine for butter boxes. Against this it was pointed out that Queensland is importing New Zealand pine for its own butter boxes, and orders placed for Queensland piue a year ago are still unfulfilled.
