FIRE AT POUKIORE.

At 4 p. m. yesterday a Are broke out in Mr T. N. L. Powell's flue ten-roomed residence in Poukiore, resulting m its total destruction with all contents, nothing whatever being waved. At the time of the outbreak all residing in the house' were on the farm, and Mrs Powell was absent in Hunterville. The insurance was £SOO on the building m the State office, and tho furniture and piano were insured in tho Fanners' Co-operatiave for an amount not ascertained up to the time of going to press. Mr Powell's loss is a heavy one.
