Rabbitskins, 3473 crates offered and 2574 sold at an average decline of Id to 2d, owing to the absence of American orders. At the wool sales the fleece portions of Otara and Wairan clips brought 9J£d and Ojifd respectively. fChere wasfa good sale at full late fates with occasional lots in sellers -favour, especially faulties. Catalogued -to date 44,205 bales, sold 38,036 bales. WOOL SALES. Messrs Murray, Roberts & Co. have received the following wool market cablegram from their Loudon House, dated 2S)th November, 1907 Compared with the average rates of last London sales, medium "to extra good Merino has declined 10 to 15 per cent, inferior and faulty declined 20 per cent. The market for the latter is very irregular. Greasy crossbred has declined sto iy 2 P er cent, coarse descriptions showing the greatest decline. The ‘competition is limited.

Uusalted butter Is per cwt loss than ; above prices. : ' The [cheese market is slightly i weaker with less demand. Some ■ holders are forcing sales. Buyers ; 'are holding back expecting prices to go lower. The cheese shipped by ' ‘the s.s. Corinthic arrived in good condition, and is quoted at 60s. 1 The hemp market is dull and ( transactions light at last quotations. ii is a better demand for hemp I on spot. ! ’’ The cocksfoot seed market is quiet. L Prospects are favourable although I buyers are not keen to do business \at the present time. The average Hywice of 171 b bright dressed seed is mma.
