TO TEA YEL THIS SEASON in the Hunterville, Silverhope, Eata, Marton, and Bulls District, the Puro-bred Clydesdale Stallion LORD KINSALE. LORD KINSALE is a bright bay horse with plenty of bone and hair of the best quality, to-gether-with a good temper and grand action. He was bred by Mr Ruddock, of Canterbury. His sire Lord Roberts* sire Lord Lion, winner of twelve firsts and twelve champion prizes. His grand sire, Lord Salisbury (1205), imported, winner of first prize at Ayr, 1870, as a two-year-old, first prize at Kilmarnock, 1577, and champion medO for best horse in the yard. In the same year he won first prize at- Dairy, first at Ayr, first at Glasgow, and first at the Highland Society's Show at Edinburgh. After coming io New Zealand, Lord Salisbury won a large number of prizes. Ho was first at Dunedin in iSSh first and champion at Taieri in 1883, first and champion at Dunedin and Taeiriin 1884, and first and chanipion at Dunedin in 1885 and 188(5. Lord Lion’s dam, Myrtle, by Prince‘of Woles (imported), grand darn Molly Mclvissock, was imported by the late Mr McAllum, her sire Lord Lion (4890 C. 5.8.) Molly # McKissock took first prize at Ayr and Dumfries in 5897. Lord Roberts’ dam, Queen by Time of Day, by Vanquisher, imported from Scotland by the late Mr D. Nesbut, great grand dam, imported from Tasmania, by Lincolnshire Hero. Queen won the first prize as a two-year-old at Oamaru in 1800, second prize as a brood mare at Oaruaru in 1897, and was placed first as a dry marc in a strong ring at Camara in 1808, and won the first prize as a brood mare and champion incd-sl for best mare or filly in the yard at Oamaru in 1899, and when nine years old was sold for 100 guineas. First and champion prize and first as mare with two of her progeny at Oamaru in 1900. LORD KINSALB'S dam, Lady Chattam, by the well-known sire Chattau, bred by Mr Alexander McKenzie, Geraldine. Chattan’s sire. Young Banker (N.Z.S.B) imported from Scotland by the Hon. Matthew Holmes. Chatam’s dam Juno (479, N.Z.5.8.) by Renfrew Jock (135 N.Z.S’B.), imborted from Victoria, by Renfrew, imported from Scotland. Juno’s dam Lady Wallace (01 N.Z.5.8.) Lady Wallace by Sir William Wallace, dam Mbs Patterson, Lady Chattam’s dam Blossom by Young Victor, by Victor, by Conquer, grand dam Margaret (231, Vol. N.Z.S.B), grand dam Nancy by Old Wellington (imported), great grand dam Polly (imported).
