The first half was , severely contested, Dewsbury aud Bailey obtaining a try. Afterwards the visitors’ three-quarters proved the stronger, New Zealand eventually winning by three goals aud four tries (18 points) to Dewsbury and Batloy’s one goal and two tries (B points)^
