Per Press Association.—Copyright. Received Dec. 2 8.50 a.m. Brisbane, December 3. For a third time in a decade the business portion' of Lougreach has been swept by lire. The tire broke out in a paint shop and spread with great rapidity. There was a large quantity of explosives in ope store together with an acetylene generator, which exploded, shattering the •windows in the vicinity. The Imperial Hotel, which was one of the finest country hotels in Queensland, costing £IO,OOO, -was among the places destroyed. The damage is estimated at £40,000.
