► DLLS TOWN BOARD At a Special Meeting ci the Bulls Town Board held on Wednesday, November 6th, 1907, the following resolution was adopted : “In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “ The Town Districts Act, 1881 ” and “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” the Bulls Town Board doth hereby resolve as follows : That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £'ooo authorised to be raised by the Bulls Town Board under the provisions of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” for the purpose of concrete kerbing, forming, metalling and asphalting footpaths within the Town District of Bulls the said Bulls Town Board hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of twopence in the £ sterling upon the rateable valuation (annual value) of all rateable property of the Balls Town District bounded as follows ; —On the east by the Rangitikei River, on the south-west by the west boundary of section 40 and by the south-west boundary of Mr D. Goughian’s properly to the Main Read, thence"to the south boundary of Block 111., Kaugitikei, and thence by the south boundary of the said Block 111, to the Tutaenui Stream, on the by the Tutaenui Stream to the Great North Western Road, Bulls to Wanganui; thence by the said road to the north-west boundary of the Rangitkei township, thence by the north eact boundary of the said township to the Main Rond, Bulls to Marton ; thence by the eastern side of the said road to the northern boundary land purchased by James Bull from Kdward Daniel and on the north-east by the north cast boundary of the said land to the Rangitibei River, and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of ueh loan and be payable in one sum on the Ist day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fortyone years, or until the loan is fully paid off, the interest on such loan being at the rato of four per cent pec annum.”
